, NY July 31, 2013 — Long Island detailer Jason Vidivici of Detailing, Inc. has been handpicked again to be one of 33 high-end detailers nationwide for the 2013 Supreme Team traveling to Seattle’s Museum of Flight
August 5- 10 to detail a paragon in American aviation history — the original presidential jet plane known as Air Force One. Vidivici, who was also selected for the 2011 team, will also serve as one of four ‘Rock It’ Team leaders. The team led by Master detailing connoisseur, Renny Doyle of Detailing Success & Attention to Details, will restore the shine on the AFO Boeing 707-120, as well as the sleek Boeing B-47 Stratojet bomber that guards the south entrance to the Museum.
The AFO SAM (Special Air Missions) 970 was a flying Oval Office for U.S. Presidents Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson, and Nixon, but now sits on the tarmac at the Museum of Flight, exposed to Seattle’s infamous climate and torrential rains. It has not been cleaned in over two years.
Vidivici, who specializes in yacht and private aircraft detailing in The Hamptons, Sag Harbor, and points in between, is no stranger to big, prestigious jobs. With the Long Island coastline for a backyard, his clientele expect their assets be meticulously maintained. “We tailor a range of services designed exclusively for the care of aircraft, luxury vehicles, and precious high flying machines,” Vidivici says.
Catering to such an affluent clientele, Jason carries a Master level certification in advanced executive detailing and paint correction. He recently bought out his competition and expanded his staff to over 10 professionally trained, high-level detailers who service over 34 marinas in the Long Island area; as well as private planes, exotic automobiles, and high-end luxury cars. He is an ideal fit for the AFO project.
According to Doyle, who has detailed AFO four times in the past decade, he is proud to share the experience with Vidivici. “I have carefully selected my team because there is no room for mistakes in detailing this $100 million airplane,” he says. “I need people who accept nothing short of perfection and Jason is one of those people.”
